Media in Belgium officially begins multilingual broadcasts through Aktif Media’s Aktif TV

Aktif TV enhances its programming by adding English, French, and Flemish to its regular broadcasts, aiming to connect diverse communities across Europe

Aktif TV, operated by Aktif Media in Belgium, has launched official multilingual broadcasts, now consistently airing content in Turkish, English, French, and Flemish. This significant expansion aims to better serve the many cultural and ethnic communities that call Europe home. Officials from Aktif Media say the new initiative seeks to create a broader sense of connection and belonging among viewers throughout the region.

Alongside the regularly scheduled programming in these four languages, Aktif TV has also begun test broadcasts in German, Kurdish, Bulgarian, and Arabic. Full activation of these additional language services is expected soon, further broadening the channel’s outreach. Aktif Media hopes that by amplifying its multilingual offerings, it will not only increase media diversity but also foster stronger cultural ties among Europe’s various communities.

Looking ahead, Aktif Media plans to make multilingual content widely available through digital platforms, social media, and mobile applications. This will improve accessibility for migrants and international audiences, reinforcing Aktif Media’s commitment to strengthening communication and promoting understanding between different groups across Europe.
